If you happen to reside in a place where flying to Disney is a must, the burning question is: How on earth do I make it from the airport to my hotel or the magical land of Disney? I mean, come on, I live in Texas - driving for a whopping 14 hours is just not on the table for us mere foolish mortals! I feel ya, the struggle is real so now read my ultimate guide to transportation from Orlando airport to Disney World!

Once upon a time - oh alright, I suppose 2021 wasn't that long ago... if you were lucky enough to stay at a Disney resort, you could hitch a ride on the Magical Express as part of your vacation deal. Picture this: you could hop on a coach with a bunch of other Disney fanatics, cruise along the scenic route to your hotel, and make pit stops at every resort on the way. It was like a magical tour bus for the Disney-obsessed, or punishment for all the kids and adults just itching to get their vacation started! 🚌✨

Well, since you can't pull off that "free" move at Walt Disney World anymore, here are some other alternatives for you to consider (there is something for every budget).

Car Service - This is unequivocally my top choice for transportation to and from the airport because why bother with a rental car when Disney provides the convenience of complimentary transportation to the park from your Disney resort. My absolute favorite provider (and I've used a lot) is www.wedriveyoufly.net. They offer highly competitive rates ($120-$160 each way, depending on how many passengers) and deliver impeccable service. Upon arrival, they are already waiting for you at the airport, ensuring a seamless experience even if flights or baggage are delayed. Their professionalism is unmatched, and the equipping of clean car seats (complimentary) is a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. As a mom, ensuring the safety of my daughter is paramount, and they excel in this regard. Their spacious and spotless vehicles guarantee a comfortable ride every time! In my previous blog post, I emphasized the importance of stopping at the grocery store to save money on beverages and meals. With this service, adding a stop is effortlessly accommodated. Rest assured, they also provide an excellent option for renting a stroller, which is a must for traveling with kids under 6!

Use my special coupon code and save 10% when you book!!! 😮 - DISNEYENCHANTS

I mean, seriously, this coupon is like a superhero trying to rescue your wallet! I'm not getting a dime out of it, just here to save you some money on your next adventure because this deal is unbeatable!

We Drive You Fly Car Options

Car Rental - When visiting for an extended period or depending on the resort's location, renting a car is often a preferred choice. Having a rental car provides the convenience of coming and going at your own pace. Although parking at the park can be a challenge, requiring a long trek or a tram ride to reach the car, the flexibility it offers can outweigh this inconvenience (as long as it is not raining). Traveling with a car seat can be a logistical hurdle, especially at the airport, and it's worth noting that parking at the parks is not complimentary (if you are not an Annual Passholder). It can cost between $20-$55, depending on the day and whether you opt for regular or preferred parking. On the bright side, parking is free at the resorts for guests with a hotel reservation. Also, if you are part of car rental loyalty programs, this can lead to significant savings too.

Ride Share - These services offer a variety of options, with prices typically ranging from $50 to over $150 each way, plus a tip. Whether you choose to order upon arrival or book in advance, keep in mind that traveling with kids may pose challenges when it comes to car seat availability. If you are requesting a car seat, it will be on the higher end of that estimate.

The Motor Coach Option - Discover this highly cost-effective transportation alternative to reach the resort. Priced at approximately $16-$20 per person each way, with frequent special offers for children. Opting for a motor coach allows you to go back to the days of Disney's Magical Express and enjoy a scenic tour of all Disney's hotels before reaching your hotel. The journey from MCO (Orlando International) airport could take up to 2 hours with this service (this is usually a 30-45 minute ride). Notably, car seats are not mandatory, and when departing for the airport, anticipate an early check-out from your hotel.

No matter if you're a fancy jet-setter or on a budget, there is a ride for you! From car services to budget-friendly coaches, all your airport transportation needs are covered.

What are you waiting for? Let's get ready to have the most magical time ever at Disney! 🎉🏰
