Do you love brunch as much as I do? If so, I've got a tasty surprise for you. But fair warning: you'll drool, you'll daydream about the food, and you'll be booking your next meal at Summer House on the Lake. It's one of the newest spots in Disney Springs, bringing Southern California flavors that will take your taste buds on an unforgettable Disney adventure.

Brunch here is only available on weekends, and honestly, I wish you could get this menu all week long. The brunch menu is so tasty that just having it for two days isn't enough, especially since it's in Disney Springs. It's tucked away on the West side, right across from the AMC movie theater and City Works. The place is super inviting with its outdoor patio, elegant design, and there's even a cookie shop attached! After you check in, you're guided inside, passing by the open kitchen and the entrance to the cookie store. You'll be amazed by the beautiful, bright, and airy decor before you sit down. The restaurant is nicely set up with a mix of booths and tables.

Alright, let's talk food. I know that's why you're here. The menu isn't huge, but it's got just the right variety to keep you happy. As soon as you check it out, the first thing that'll grab your attention under brunch specialties is "our famous giant cinnamon roll." Warning: drool-worthy! Seriously, this is the best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted. It's got a fresh blueberry swirl, candied lemon zest, and homemade cream cheese frosting that'll blow your mind. Can I kick off every day with one of these? You’ve got to try this, whether you’re sharing it with the table as a brunch appetizer or making it your main dish. Disney Enchanted Rating: 11/10!

The giant cinnamon roll was amazing, so we couldn't resist checking out some other stuff on the menu. I went for the Mexican hash browns—think shredded hash browns with sunny side up eggs, tomato salsa, cheese, avocado, and cilantro on top. Just as tasty as the cinnamon roll! I loved how the hash browns were perfectly balanced, not too crispy or too mushy. Disney Enchanted Rating: 8.5/10.

We wanted to mix things up, so we went for the savory pancake tacos. They came with three pancakes stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheddar, and maple sausage. They tasted awesome and were packed with flavor. I was a bit worried the pancakes might get soggy from the scrambled eggs, but they held up great. I have to mention, though, this dish was a bit on the cold side. You could tell because the cheese wasn't that gooey, shiny look you get from hot melted cheese. It was still good, but I bet it would have been even better if it was hot. Disney Enchanted Rating: 8/10.

Let's not forget about the kids! The menu had just two "breakfast food" options: breakfast for dinner, which includes silver dollar pancakes with bacon or sausage and fruit, or Brody's scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage and fruit. But don't worry, the full lunch/dinner menu for kids was also available, which is great if your little ones aren't into breakfast foods. My kid chose the pancakes—they were fluffy and delicious. I was a bit bummed about the single strip of bacon, but the fruit made up for it. Overall, it was a solid breakfast for my 5-year-old. Disney Enchanted Rating: 7.5/10!

✨ Pro Tips to enhance your experience!

  • You can make an advance dining reservation here, and for brunch it is definitely recommended.

  • If you are using the Disney Dining plan, this is considered one table dining experience. The menu here is very affordable though, so a dining plan is not essential.

  • They've got you covered with both indoor and outdoor seating options, perfect for those summer nights or, since we're in Florida, those "chilly" winter evenings!

  • There's a cookie shop right next to the restaurant with a ton of fresh cookies, and the best part is you don't have to wait forever like you do at Gideon's Bake Shop.

The food was awesome and packed with flavor. I'm definitely coming back for that giant cinnamon roll. It's got to be one of the best things you can eat at Disney.

Disney Enchanted overall rating: 8.5/10!

Happy Dining, Readers!
